Perry Technical Institute is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges. Perry's certificate programs are approved by the Washington State Workforce Training and Education Coordinating Board and the associate degree is approved by the Washington Student Achievement Council.
In 2024, Perry Technical Institute was one of 19 schools in the nation to be named an ACCSC School of Excellence. This marks the third consecutive time that Perry Tech has received the organization's most prestigious award. Perry Tech was also one of only four schools who also received the honor when they were last eligible, further demonstrating the commitment to the expectations of ACCSC accreditation and to delivering quality educational programs.
Perry Tech was named the 2020 ACCSC 'Excellence in Community Service' award recipient, and the following year Perry received the ACCSC 2021 'Excellence in Student Services' award.
Additionally, Perry Tech has been named a Military Friendly School by GI Jobs Magazine and a Veteran Supportive Campus by the Washington State Department of Veteran's Affairs. In 2017, Perry received the designation as a Hispanic Serving Institution.
