From telephone systems to cellular technology, from computer systems to wireless technology, career opportunities abound in the IT and communications field.
Perry’s two-year Information Technology & Communication Systems Program covers the latest in communications technology – electronics theory, personal computers, wireless communications, telephone systems, transmission equipment, alarm systems and data networking and administration.
The program offers the opportunity to earn several industry certifications, including CompTIA, Cisco and FCC. The program is approved by the State of Washington as a two-year Limited Energy (06) Specialty Electrical training program. Graduates are credited with one year towards the two years required to be eligible to take the certification exam for the Limited Energy (06) Specialty Electrical License.
Upon graduation, you’ll be qualified for entry-level jobs such as telecommunications and data network technician, computer support specialist, alarm technician, telephone, central office and PBX installer, wireless technician and many other high-tech positions.
