Contribute to our North Lake Tahoe community & join the Incline Village GID that provides utility (water, sewer, conservation, trash) & recreation (golf, parks & recreation, tennis/pickleball, ski) services for Incline Village & Crystal Bay, Nevada.

Hiring team member to coordinate, maintain, support, install, repair, and utilize all aspects of the District’s specialized operational technology systems associated with the Water/Wastewater division; electrical instrumentation, control systems and mechanical equipment. Participate in the planning, design, procurement, installation, operation, maintenance, repair, integration, training and modification of assigned systems.

The rate is $41.31 - $49.57/hour, DOE & Certs, includes health insurance, Pension/Deferred Comp Plans, sick/vacation, short-term & long-term disability, food/beverage & recreation privileges. Requirements

Education/Experience & Certifications

High School Diploma (GED) and Associate’s degree (AA) in electronics or similar discipline; three years’ professional experience with PLC/RTU programming and SCADA system maintenance; three years experience instrumentation/control systems; or two years experience or technical training as Electrician, Electronic Technician or equivalent combination of education and experience. Education/experience is preferred but not required. Possess a valid Driver's License, possess or obtain within two years Grade I Water Treatment & Grade I Wastewater Treatment certification from Nevada Department of Environmental Protection (NDEP). Possession Grade III Electrical/Instrumentation certification from California Water Environment Association (CWEA) preferred but not required.

Other Skills or Abilities

Self-directed work environment. Self-motivated and show a high level of initiative. Must be available for after hour, holiday and weekends as needed for emergencies. Strong computer skills, good organization and customer service skills. Communicate courteously & efficiently (in-person/written). Read and interpret safety, operating/maintenance instructions, and electrical/instrumentation diagrams. Write routine reports and correspondence, and speak effectively with customers and employees.
