The Opportunity
WSDOT is currently seeking a Forms & Record Analyst 3 for South Central Region. This position provides support to the region and public by maintaining and managing the regions engineering records; printing and coordinating the distribution of contract plans for the region. You will maintain scheduling service for several reproduction machines. You will also serve as the regions point of contact for the Attorney General’s Office regarding request for information and litigation holds on records.

This position contributes to the agency goals by supporting the legal requirements of the States Public Records Act in Chapter 42.56 of our RCW.

What to Expect
Among the varied range of responsibilities held within this role, you will:

Process public disclosure requests.
Perform records search and assist in electronic archiving.
Field questions and give guidance about public disclosures.
Advise region offices on public disclosure RCW rules and regulations and carry out policies and procedures relating to the public disclosure program.
Make decisions as needed so deadlines and customers’ needs are met.
Conduct training for staff on public disclosure and records retention laws, policies, and procedures.
Operate and schedule maintenance service to production machines.
Consult with region offices to identify archive responsibility, determine retention schedule and proper disposition of records.

Qualifications
To be considered for this opportunity, the following are required:
Two (2) years of experience with records retention, which includes working with Microsoft Office Suite software (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access).
Experience collecting and organizing data.

It is preferred that qualified candidates also have:
Knowledge of Washington State RCWs related to records management and public disclosure. Knowledge of WSDOT policies and procedures related to records management applications.
Knowledge of all WSDOT departments and field offices, including their functions and locations, within the South-Central Region.

In addition to base salary, employees may be entitled to other forms of compensation depending on the type, duties, or location of the position.
