The 1-year Agricultural & Diesel Equipment Technician program prepares students for entry-level careers in agricultural, construction and diesel-powered equipment industries. Students study electrical, hydraulic and fuel systems in addition to powertrain theory while having the opportunity to participate in an early-start externship program where they can advance their new skills.
As the use of high-tech equipment and implements expands, industries often depend upon technicians with the right combination of technical skills and mechanical abilities. Upon graduation from Perry Tech, graduates typically work in entry-level positions where there is a need for someone to maintain and repair a wide array of equipment.
