The 1-year Medical Office Administration & Coding hybrid classroom/lab/study-from-home program initially helps develop entry-level business office skills and advances into working in a medical office setting. Approved by the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC), the curriculum includes learning medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, human diseases, medical office procedures, diagnostics, and procedures coding. Career tracks for graduates include medical coding, medical office computer specialists, and other support positions in medical related organizations. The course offers students an opportunity to earn several industry certifications including Certified Professional Coder and Microsoft Office Suite.
