Learning Resource Center

The Learning Resource Center (LRC) exists to help students on their path to academic success. Perry students have access to this quiet study area, removed from the noise and daily distractions of life. The LRC is located in the Senator Jim Honeyford Student Center located on the main campus.

The LRC offers access to:

Books and technical manuals
Laptops fully equipped with the Microsoft Office suite
Program-specific resources
Free printing of school-related items
Group study areas

The LRC is open Mon-Thu from 6:30am-5:00pm (excluding school closures and holidays).

YAKIMA VALLEY LIBRARY RESOURCES

Students are required to obtain a Yakima Valley Library Card upon enrollment. Perry Tech’s partnership with Yakima Valley Libraries provides students 24/7 access to a collection of online libraries, databases and services including:

	BrainFuse HelpNow Live Online Tutoring Available daily from 1pm-midnight. Instant, live assistance in subjects like general math, algebra, trigonometry, geometry, calculus, physics, English, writing, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel. SkillSurfer A library of lessons, videos, and tests on subjects like general math, algebra, geometry, physics, reading, writing and more.
	LinkedIn Learning LinkedIn Learning offers courses in areas such as Time Management, Customer Service, Communication, PowerPoint, Excel, and preparation for CompTIA and Cisco certifications.
	Mango Languages Learn over 70 world languages through Mango Languages. Mango is a personalized, adaptive language-learning resource that offers listening and reading activities, real-world conversation examples, and voice comparison features for pronunciation help.
	Kanopy Kanopy is a video-streaming service providing quality, independent educational and entertainment content. Includes access to many fascinating lecture series offered by the Great Courses.
